Accident –
On June 28, 2024, a piece of the roof at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 1 fell owing to severe rain and high winds. The event caused severe inconvenience, with at least 20 planes cancelled and 120 delayed.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the reason of the fall and to assure the safety of passengers and airport personnel.
